I took this picture using legal drugs to illustrate the inaccuracy of eyeballing. Many nootropic websites include these microscoops with their product and advertise a red scoop to equal 10mg. This simply isn't true depending on the powder, chemical, and batch of product. It is important to buy a milligram scale and (if the drug is potent) combine that with volumetric liquid dosing. Even a cheap $30 scale can be extremely accurate if it is combined with the volumetric dosing method.
